Good habits in addition to exercise stimulates energy for your body and mind, enabling you to confidently take on the world – and it doesn’t hurt to know that you look good doing it too!

I am a NASM certified personal trainer and former college athlete with a variety of training in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern and belly dance, basketball, softball, and track and field. My training incorporates a variety of exercises that you may have not done before including circuit training, kettlebells, resistance bands, body sculpting, plyometrics, functional training, Hot Burning Body, and interval training.
5 killer reasons to make exercise a priority
5. Not only does exercise improve your body, it helps your mental function. Need some brain power to ace a test or that project at work? Get some exercise. Exercise increases energy and serotonin in the brain, which leads to improved mental clarity. So get some exercise then get to work!
4. You will have more energy. Although it may be difficult to get up and get going, exercise actually does give you more energy. Exercise releases endorphins that help you feel good all day long. You may initially feel tired, but that won’t last long.
3. Get rid of that stress. As much as it may stress you out just to think about exercising, once you actually start working out, you'll experience less stress in every part of your life.
2. Get your grub on. It’s true. (WOOO HOO!!!!) Muscle burns more calories than fat – almost 2x as much to be precise. So the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn- even when you are just relaxing at the pool. And don’t feel bad if you cheat and have that brownie sundae with hot fudge, caramel, and walnuts (or just a cookie if you are more disciplined that I am). You can afford it if you are exercising, so enjoy.
1.You look B.YOUtiful, but feel even more FabYOUlous! Although it seems like everyone wants to have a 6 pack and a tight booty, feeing good is where it all begins. Focus on the healthy, energetic, positive and productive feeling that comes from fitness, there is no way that your body will not follow.
